• Spring Yard of the Season will be handled like the winter with registering to enter the contest.
• Ideas for promoting unity in the neighborhood:
-
• CVHOA Yellow Page Directory. This would be for our neighbors who offer businesses. It would cost $5 for their ad and it would be encouraged to put a discount coupon in the directory for the neighbors.
• Faye made a motion to have a neighborhood yellow pages directory to include neighbors in the community who own or offer businesses. It would be encouraged for the businesses to offer a discount to their neighbors. Tri seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
• Discussion of doing a how-to booklet. How to keep your yards clear of weeds, how to help neighbors with their taxes, how to protest your property appraisals, etc. It was suggested that we have neighborhood get-togethers to offer mini seminars to help with things that are of interest to our neighbors.
• It was suggested that we do a flyer with the information about the Yellow Pages and Yard of the Season all on one flyer and put it in Vietnamese as well.
Website Maintenance Report – Tri Nguyen
-
• Tri is maintaining the web site by adding the minutes and pictures as they are received
Property Manager’s Report – Ron Fielding

• Ron is to check clearance items to see if purchasing a heavy-duty water slip and slide would be better than renting. Hong thinks she might find one, too.
• The remaining alley fence on Woodway and Mapleview will be completed for about $7400 as well as closing in the south fence opening on Woodway)
• The resident who set out a sign in their yard advertising an area church was asked to remove it. It was in violation of city ordinance sections 30.93 & 30.108
• Ron needs to remind residents to take down their Christmas decorations
• Vehicles advertising their businesses are not allowed to be left on the street overnight per the CCR section 3.4(b)
• Quarterly gate inspection report – gates are in working order. The Clearview gate had a broken part and is now fixed
